Originally from the picturesque town of Rize, Türkiye, my artistic journey began early, nurtured by my innate creative instincts and a deep appreciation for beauty. My family’s relocation to Australia in 1977 opened a world of opportunity for me and at the age of just twelve, I embarked on private art tutoring, exploring various mediums and techniques that would lay the foundation for my future artistic path.

Over the following eight years I refined my craft under the guidance of dedicated instructors, developing skills and solidifying my passion for art. I had the privilege of learning water-colour, acrylics, charcoal, pastels, pencils, ink and my favourite oil paining.

In 1990 I expanded my creative horizons by pursuing formal studies in Fashion Design and Technology, where I excelled in pattern making and design. My skill and love for fashion flourished as I collaborated with prominent brands, contributing to the dynamic fashion industry at the time where I had the opportunity and spirit to create bespoke evening wear for private clients while continuing to be a part of various famous design brands.

Though my success in the fashion industry earned me recognition, my deepest passion remained in fine arts. Throughout my career, I continued to evolve as an artist away from working hours, producing a wide array of commissioned works that have been adored and loved by clients and collectors alike.

Art for me is more than a craft, it is a pathway to healing and connection. This philosophy is embedded in my creative process, guiding me to explore the transformative power of art.

Recently I expanded my artistic vision through Advanced Diploma studies in Transpersonal Art Therapy. This unique field allows me to blend artistic expertise with a commitment to mental health and well-being, empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges through creative expression.

My career is a testament to the versatility, resilience, and passion I have for all artforms. Seamlessly bridging the world of fashion and fine art, I continue to inspire others with my unwavering belief in the power of creativity as a tool for healing, empowerment, and self-discovery.
