A Walk In Time | Paper Print

This painting was inspired by the beauty of nature and the way colours can evoke emotions. I wanted to create a dreamlike landscape where the bridge and water become the heart of the scene, inviting the viewer into a peaceful, almost magical world. The colour palette was carefully chosen based on the colour wheel, blending warm pinks, reds, and yellows with cool blues and teals. This contrast creates depth and movement, making the trees feel alive and the water reflective. The bold use of complementary colours enhances the painting’s vibrancy, while the soft blending of tones creates harmony. 

The bridge, with its delicate ironwork, acts as a pathway between the two sides, symbolizing connection and transition. The water beneath it was painted with fluid strokes, using light reflections to give it a shimmering, almost ethereal quality. By layering textures and using both thick and delicate brushstrokes, I aimed to bring the elements to life, making them feel organic yet surreal. 

This piece represents a moment of quiet reflection, a place where time slows, and nature embraces you. Through colour and composition, I wanted to capture both serenity and movement, inviting the viewer to step into this enchanted world.
