Colours Of Tomorrow | Paper Print
This painting is a celebration of nature’s changing beauty, with the bridge and water serving as the focal points. I wanted to create a scene that feels both peaceful and full of life, drawing the viewer into a world of colour and texture.
I carefully selected my palette using the colour wheel, balancing warm tones like deep reds, oranges, and yellows with cooler blues and greens.
The contrast between warm and cool colours helps create depth and dimension, making the foliage appear rich and vibrant. I used thick, textured brushstrokes to bring the trees to life, adding energy to the scene.
The bridge is a personal symbol for me as it represents moments of transition, reflection, and connection. I have always been drawn to places like this, where water flows calmly beneath, mirroring the world above. The water was painted with layered strokes and palette knife techniques to create a sense of movement, capturing how light shifts across the surface.
This piece reflects my deep appreciation for nature and the emotions it evokes. Through colour, texture, and composition, I aimed to create a moment of stillness where I and the viewer, can pause and take in the beauty that surrounds us.
