Orange Moonlight Dance | Paper Print

Orange Moonlight Dance is my tribute to the beauty and sensuality of dance, the way two bodies move together, creating an unspoken rhythm that speaks louder than words. I wanted to capture that hypnotic moment when movement becomes pure emotion, lifting the dancers to a heightened state of euphoria. For me, dance is more than steps, it’s a connection, a pulse, an expression of passion and energy.
I used an impasto technique with thick layers of acrylic, applying paint with a palette knife to create rich texture and depth. The background is alive with fiery oranges, soft pinks, and earthy tones, echoing the warmth of moonlit streets.

The silhouetted figures contrast sharply against this vibrant backdrop, intensifying the drama of their embrace. Bold strokes, splatters, and scratches add raw emotion, mirroring the intensity of the dance itself. Through colour and movement, I invite the viewer to feel the rhythm of the night.
