Winter Walk | Original Artwork
As I painted this scene, I wanted to capture the contrast of winter’s cold and the warmth of love. The golden glow of the lamps represents the lingering warmth of a cherished connection, even as snow blankets the world in silence. The figure walks through the path, embraced by the soft light. Much like love, subtle yet ever-present, guiding us through the coldest moments.
Using a palette knife, I sculpted the texture of snow-laden branches, giving them depth and realism. The soft blending of acrylics with a brush allowed me to create a dreamy atmosphere, where warmth meets frost. With each stroke, I felt the emotions of love, its quiet strength and comforting glow. This painting is a reminder that love, like light, always finds a way through the cold.
This original work is painter on heavy art paper. Unframed.
