I chose a palette of warm yellows, deep oranges, and rich reds to create an atmosphere of timeless beauty, contrasted with cool blues in the water to add depth and movement. Using acrylic paints mixed with a moulding medium, I built layers of texture that bring the scene to life. The thick application of paint gives the trees a vibrant, organic quality, making the leaves appear as though they are dancing in the light. The bridge, a central element in the composition, was carefully sculpted with texture to emphasize its historic elegance, while the reflections in the water add a sense of tranquillity and fluidity. This piece is a tribute to the charm of old European towns, where history lingers in the architecture and streets. It invites the viewer to step into a dreamlike setting, embracing the warmth and nostalgia of a beautiful yesterday."
